Deadline to complete the Intent to Re-Enroll form
April 15, 2019
Re-Enrollment officially begins. You must complete both of the following steps to fully enroll your child:
- Online Registration – This online form allows you to confirm/edit your child’s most current emergency contact information, physical address, health and privacy information. The online registration link comes directly from OSSE. Once the link is active, we will share it directly with you. **It is likely the link could be available as early as March or as late as May. It MUST be completely filled out and submitted to complete enrollment
- Submit Approved DC Residency Verification - Parents may begin to submit the DC verification form with approved DC residency documentation on Monday, April 15, 2019. Click here to see a list of OSSE approved documentation you can submit.

Applying to DC ScholarsAre you interested in applying to DC Scholars PCS in the school year 2019-20?
DC Scholars participates in the My School DC common lottery. A single, random lottery that determines placement for new students at all participating schools. At any time, you can log into your family account to see your child’s waitlist position at the schools you applied to. This video explains how the program and waitlists work.

Deadline to accept a space if your child was matched to a school through the lottery**
** To accept your child’s space after March 29th, you must submit a My School DC seat acceptance form, provide any additional documentation required by the school, and prove DC residency in person, at the school. For more information about enrollment requirements, please click here.
What if I missed the March 1st deadline?
All families who miss the lottery deadlines can apply to schools using the My School DC post-lottery application beginning on March 2. For more information on the post-lottery application click here and visit MySchoolDC to complete the application. A member of our operations team will contact you if/when a seat becomes available.
